ABOUT AMANDA

Amanda is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Master of Arts in Counseling and holds School Counselor and Student Assistance Counselor certificates. Although much of Amanda’s experience has been working in school settings with adolescents, she has developed an interest and experience working with adults while working in outpatient settings as well. Currently, Amanda works with young adults andadults addressing a wide range of issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, life’s transitions, and grief & bereavement.

 APPROACH TO THERAPY

Amanda’s style is a warm and genuine person centered approach to develop a foundation for a strong therapeutic relationship. She uses a variety of different evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and mindfulness interventions to meet the needs of her clients.

FUN FACTS

Amanda works full-time supporting family and community programs across the state. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with friends and family.
